Talking 2.7 RS high dome P/C, NOS 2.0 pistons, CDI...

Selling these for a friend.

Permatune CDI.
$110

(set of 6) 2.7 RS high dome pistons and cylinders. These are Mahle's and have been cleaned, honed and inspected. Pics show 1...all are in comparable condition.
$1500

(2) New Old Stock 2.0L "E" pistons. These have never been installed in an engine. One has a small nick on one of the valve pockets. You aren't going to find these very easily elsewhere...
Best Offer

Also have a set of used 2.0L pistons and cylinders usable condition. Sorry no pictures right now of them.
Best offer.

Look for more piston and cylinder sets. He has several 2.8L RSR Mahle, 2.9L JE and I think even several 3.0RSR Mahle sets (all used but will be inspected, honed and cleaned before sale. Expecting to ask $1500 OBO.

Lots of interest in the 2.7 and 2.8/3.0RSR P/C sets. I am going to try to have them all sorted and cleaned Wednesday and hope to be able to get back to everybody by Wednesday evening with pictures in the order that they expressed an interest.

We still are not sure how many sets we can make out of the ones we have found so far, so please be patient. I don't think there is enough to go around, but we'll see.

Thanks!

Ok, I have a much better count of what is available now looks to be more 2.7 RS stuff than the RSR.

There are 3 sets of 2.7 high dome RS pistons and cylinder sets
one set of 2.9 JE pistons
5 2.8L Mahle 2.8L pistons and cylinders
6 Mahle 2.9 RSR pistons and cylinders, but we are one cylider short (these are the racing ones without the groove).
3 extra 2.7 RS pistons and cylinders
There is also a partial set of 4 of what looks to be 3.0 RSR style pistons and cylinders (pistons are aftermarket) and should fit a 3 liter case.

Sorry about the confusion with the 2.8L...after careful measuring we found them to be more 2.7RS high dome ones.

The missing pistons and cylinders might be in other boxes in storage, we'll know in 2 or 3 weeks. We are also looking around to find wayward ones to complete these sets.

Not sure what the 2.9 RSR ones are worth... These appear to be factory..just slightly oversized. They are in very good condition. Anyone have any pricing ideas?

I'll try to get emails to all interested parties tonight. I'm posting this in case I don't get to everybody. I'm swamped with trying to open a new restaurant. Thanks for looking!

2.7RS. all three are good usable sets (missing one is the one I took a picture of earlier):

These ar the partial sets. Top row is 2.7RS, next is 2.8RSR, then 2.9 JE sitting in the 2.9 cylinders for the Mahles. Below thare are some partial yet to be identified...

Ok, these are the Mahle 2.9 pistons. They measured 92.6mm...Possibly a cheater set from the factory? Anyone out there have better info???

And finally the partial 3.0RSR ones...

Bert,

So far all three 2.7 P/C's are pending sale, but money hasn't been ponied up yet. The 2.9L pistons are still available and there are 5 cylinders with them...we can source the 6th I think, or we can help with the price to reflect the machine work needed to make it.

We are looking for serious offers at this point as there are several people "interested".

I hate to watch all of these go...they are really nice to look at...

We only have 3 misc 2.7L high dome pistons at present in addition to the 3 sets shown. We are looking for the remaining 3 but it might be a couple of weeks before we can tell if we have them or not.

2 2.7 high-dome pistons and cylinder sets are sold (pending payment).

1 set of 2.7 is still up for grabs. Sjtom, if interested, make an offer on the pistons only.

Bert, any further thought on the 2.9L set?

Kurt,

I'll see what kind of singles there are and get back with you. It might not be until Monday, but I'll try for Saturday afternoon. I think we can work something out though.

Casey, your 2,0 sets: are they T, E, S? Is the oil ring above the pin or below?

We have a 2.0 "T" set where the oil ring is above the wrist pin. There is a full set of iron cylinders to go with them. (actually have 9 of these pistons.

As for the "E" ones...Thought there were only 2 (not sets, but single pistons)...turns out we have 4 NOS pistons (singles). Oil ring is below the wrist pin.

The compression on the 2.7L sets are higher than the stock RS ones. It can be adjusted with shims and usually is set to around 11:1. You can set it lower if you want...

As of right now all of the RS sets are spoken for. We found that we have a complete set of 2.8 P/C if you are willing to mix height group's 5 and 6.

The 2.9L Mahle pistons are available as well.

***EDIT TO CORRECT MISTAKE ON 2.0 911T P/C set. I incorrectly referred to them as "E" originally and I have now fixed this mistake.***
