Not sure this is the right forum ...
I've been trying to reconstruct my 1969 911E to stock configuration and recently purchased a complete MFI setup for the car. Everything looks good other than the throttle bodies and stacks (matched to each other) appear to be from a '70 or '71. They are mag but the numbers are not '69E numbers according to my parts manual. If I use these, what impact - if any - would that have on the authenticity and/or value of the completed car? Stacks: 911 110 301 0R Bodies: 911 110 101 1R Thanks,

They are indeed different. '69 is one year only. if you use a '69E pump with the later stacks and T-bodies it may effect the way the engine runs, since the space cam is cut to match the throttle linkage geometry. IIRC, it seemed to have different lever arm lengths than the later stuff.
If it bugs you, I've got a full set of '69E t-bodies and stacks that I could swap you for the '70-'71 pieces. I've also got a '69E MFI pump. Let me know, and I'll dig this stuff out and take pics.

Tyson,
Thanks for the offer -- I may take you up on it if I find that indeed the stacks/TBs won't work with the 69E pump. My set appears to be in very nice shape with no play in the shafts and tight plates in the TBs. How are yours? You can e-mail me directly at ron @ mchsi.com (take out the spaces -- I did that so I won't get spammed by e-mail programs). I'll be in SF and Sacto until 14 March and may not have e-mail access, so if you don't hear from me, that's why. Thanks,

O.K., I'll dig them out and take pics. Mine have very nice throttle shafts as well. I'll give them a really good look over.
