FS: 2.2 twin-plug MFI heads; 906 spec!

My project is changing directions, so I need to sell some of my unused fun parts!

These MFI heads have had a second 12mm plug added as well as being ported to 906 specs (38I/38E). The heads have been finished by glass beading and are ready to go, short of needing new valve guides.

This is for a set of six, fully disassembled heads, including the proper removal of those pesky exhaust studs!

Asking $700.00 , which is what they cost me ($250 for cores, $350 for TPing, and $200 for porting).

Pictures are below because of a firewall at work (thanks kenikh - you da man)!

Tadd

Edited 05/30/06 for new price.

Valve sizes are...

the same across the B cars heads. They are 46 intakes and 39 exhausts from the 2.2 all the way to the 2.7L cars. Only the port sizes changed. What makes this really nice is that the 'bowl' of the port above the valve is the same as well, so that critical area is taken care of by the factory on all the heads.

These would be...

really nice on a 2.5 or 2.6 short stroke! A really nice way to take full advantage of all that lift from modern cam profiles.

To be clear, too, these valves are actually 1mm bigger than the 906.

Help these poor unloved heads, please . They are starting to get a complex!

Save yourself a lot of trouble building that 2.7 screamer - then turn your old heads for a net profit!

Most TP work is $400+, then you still have to send off your heads and wait. These can be revalved by any mechanic and your car can stay on the road longer rather than sitting engineless in the garage since you were going to have to redo a 2.7s guides anyway...

If you think the price is unfair, talk to me... maybe you can convince me and we can work something out!

Gotta move!

Someone please make me an offer... I gotta move and I really don't want to take them with me.

They just want to be set free and used on something fast!
