nt914pt,
this is in response to your pm- "nt914pt wrote on 12-05-2006 09:27 PM: fyi there r 2 version of the RSR struts vs1453R and vs1453L these struts do not have raised spindles with threaded body these struts r less do your research!" I have done my research! Included is the link to the official Bilstein mototsport catalog. The 1453R and 1453L are for the RIGHT AND LEFT and not different versions. Bilstein makes only one version! http://www.bilstein.com/motorsports_cat.pdf As I stated earlier, your $1600.00 price is about $600.00 higher that a brand new pair of raised/ threaded "RSR" struts. -sc |

I agree that the price is out of wack. I paid less than that for a new pair last summer.
btw - The place I purchased from told me that std RSRs have spindles raised 12mm over stock and mine are raised 19mm.

Don, you are right. You can get the Bilstiens in two varieties. I won't comment on the price but if I check my records I don't think there is a price difference. Also, the fellow you got your struts through is one of the folks that got bilstien to raise the spindles to 19mm.
Cheers
