$25 for the switch is fine. I'll wait for the other prices and pay all at once, if that is all right with you.

I have a huge list of the posts and email combined. I will try to get to the car and meet with the owner tomorrow to take pics and come up with some prices. I will post the pics and prices along with the order (if there are more than 1 request) and we'll go from there. I'll try to keep this as organized as possible.

This is just a cryin' shame.........Sell the car whole and let someone put it back on the road - it's identical to my 73.5........If his time is worth anything, he'll get more for the whole car, rather than messing with pulling parts, packing, shipping, etc...

Bob - I actually agree with you and I've been discussing this with another Pelican off-line. It's bothering me as well to help in parting this out. Since it's not mine I don't have the ultimate decision but I'm going to talk to the owner tomorrow and see what he's willing to do (I'm sure all the Pelican's in line for parts don't want to hear that). I'll let everyone know tomorrow and if he is willing to sell it as is I'll post it hear.

If the seat belts are in good shape, I'd be interested in the prices of those too. Plus I'd be interested in the oil tank filler tube, cap, dipstick, and, rubber hose that attaches this to the oil tank. Also, how are the turn signal housings?
So far, I've inquired and am interested in:
1. Wheels
2. Doors
3. Seat belts
4. Oil tank filler tube, cap, dipstich and rubber hose
5. Turn Signal housings
Thanks,
Jeff

Can I buy the Wheel well chrome and the deco front and rear bumpers chrome with wide rubber and nuts/bolts?
Can I buy the floor pan and pan that is around the pedal assembly...throw in the pedals! As you know, my 911 T is rusted in that area.

The hinges for $20 seems fair to me. PLease, let me know the badges , the Porsche emblem for the hood if it's the original one and the washer bottle. Thanks, Fernando.

THIS CAR SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN APART! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. Why doesn't someone part one of those rusty junk cars on ebay that has the motor missing or the wrong engine. This looks like a very original car with the desirable CIS motor and color combination. What is the rust situation with the car? Being in the desert I am assuming there is minimal rust. This car is worth a lot more complete than parting out.

UPDATE : I spoke to the owner of the car this morning and we have agreed to try to sell the car complete minus the seats before parting it out. He would like to get $10K for the car which is why he went the direction of parting it out. I'm going to go see the car again tomorrow and check the engine and transmission and take more pictures of the car. I will probably post it here on Pelican and maybe on eBay as a complete car. If it doesn't sell quickly I will continue this process. I have the complete list - in order of all the parts everyone wants and I will pick up where we left off if the car doesn't sell. Sorry to change directions on everyone but several other Pelicans, including myself, don't feel a car in this condition should be parted. I'll keep everyone posted.
