Nice try, but the fact that you sent me a pair of completely different calipers than the "pretty one's" you pictured for sale deserves the 'dig'. It was Bait and switch. The honest guys here kinda like to know who's who when it comes to this. Returning them after you charged me 150 for shipping? You had 1,500, and to think I'd trust you with the money and the parts...There's no way I'd trust you to have done that. This dig is what you'll get instead. Besides, What was all that shipping cost for? Certainly not for packing material..... you left a minimum of 10" for those calipers to banged around by the hubs/rotors. There was absolutely nothing in the boxes but the parts. |

Unhappy Guy
I hope you like the title I did it for you . Gumby I told you I would ship them cod... Like I said if you wanted pretty you should have bought new...Its funny guys like you hubs rotors and calipers $ 1500.00 going rate ... you bought off ebay and now you feeling are hurt ...Hey your the same guy who also said send the bearing because you didn't want to buy new... and you wanted a complete front end for $200 or so dollars . HEY if they were new in the box you say they were too nice for your car... I love to take you out for a beer . have a good weekend .

Guys like you dance around the truth when they're called on it: Bottom line is You sent me some different calipers. They were shaved down on the outsides...unlike the ones pictured. I saved pictures of your ad, and what you sent me... care to explain the differences between those? Probably not... your more concerned in directing the attention elsewhere, and not your fraudulent behavior. Ps..it was the spindle nuts / not bearings..and you didn't send those either like you Verbally promised over the phone.... It's hilarious you mention something so sidetracked like a front suspension. |

PRETTY and shinny
For your info. i polished the script and the raised lines on the calipers from the 930...that is the difference from the pictures... if you knew what you were looking for in the first place you wouldn't have stated I sent you the wrong calipers... 930 calipers are 930 calipers front are fronts and thats what I sent you fronts....you could have contacted me at any time, as you must know there is never a problem selling 930 brakes, so I could of easily sent you your money back... and sold them to some else who is more fa miler with what is what ,and what items cost... as for your free spindle nut ( and wow your figured out what it was called ) ... after you told me to you purchased a front end locally and cheaper i figured you had all you needed. that why I never sent it. I left you positive feedback on eBay... and of course you left me neg feedback..... hey but you still used the calipers didn't you . So thats was your choice...Hey IF YOU LIKE SEND ME THE CALIPERS ROTORS AND HUBS BACK IN THE SAME CONDITION I SENT THEM TO YOU , ... PAY PAL ESCROW WHAT EVER.... LET ME KNOW . BUT of course like your email stated your bitter and you would like to prevent me from sell anything thing on here..... WE HAVE all met guys like you... enjoy your build like everyone one else on here ....YOU want to complain some more , go buy a DOG.....

Carrera I put the C back more because I like the way it fit on the flared fender, its also higher . I wanted it to contour with the rear more instead of being flat, also this car is a factory 3.3 Turbo. My 74 I assure you is in the correct place .. THANKS for looking ,,I'm still looking for the turbo script ??

What exactly did you polish them with, a grinder ? You "polished" them so far down that numbers on the sides are completely gone! And why did you do this to the ones you were selling without informing the buyer? Did you damage them while they were being auctioned, or after, and then have to grind out the damage, and hope I would see it as polishing? It didn't work. Only after I opened the box did I find out that these were "polished" The pistons are froze on both calipers(did that happen during shipping?), and I've done nothing after recieving them from you, other than putting them in some bubble wrap(that's packing material to keep items from being damaged in shipping!). You say to return them in the same way sent --for a refund. This is the same principle when sending an item you sell.... you send the exact item you pictured (that's what the buyer is expecting to recieve). You still haven't said why you sent them like this. Why you did this whitout informing me that's what I'd recieve You continue to state numerous comments that sidestep the facts...I just wanted those calipers from the pictures....nothing "polished"...nothing different from the pictures. I see your desperate to get the readers to believe my words are not realistic, and that I lack the ability to recognize polishing over grinding. I've shown these calipers to numerous board members, and they agree with me that you hacked into the aluminum rather deep (not a polish job)! |

The ones you sent me are Totally different from the pictures of calipers in your ad Mr. pagan.
(Identical pics you used on Ebay) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?p=3593665#post3593665 You seemed to think Polishing the calipers(the porsche script is already polished in the link above ) means taking the aluminum down 1/8" in some places. These are obviously not any of the calipers pictured in the link. For whatever reason you did this to these front calipers, you could'nt even do it evenly. ![]()

to grind or to polish
NOw its about polishing and grinding... 1st it was they weren't 930 calipers, then it was , wrong calipers, then it was no free spindle nut, then it was frozen, and oh too much shipping The next thing it will be they were not black enough . you have the option to send them back ??? HEY as for the pistons being frozen ...yea sure they were frozen solid... ( look at the rotors You'll see they weren't frozen or sticking ) hello I removed the from a fully function car. I guess you want everyone to believe you kept frozen cut up 930 calipers and hubs that you purchased for 1500.00.... and you have waited till I posted to save everyone on here... Hey if the world had more wonderful mEN like you it word be a much safer place...If you were building a concourse car you should have purchased them new ...

David, are you having a hard time answering the question........?..........
Why did you do this to these calipers without informing me that's what I'd recieve? |

YOUR question
I didn't think it would make a difference, the calipers were fully functional , if you had a problem with my attempt to enhance the look, all you had to do is call me or send them back, I'M FORTUNATE ENOUGH THAT IF YOU WEREN'T HAPPY i COULD EASILY RETURN YOUR FUNDS. WITH NO PROBLEMS . Very simple .. BUT instead you choose to use the forum to try to make me look like a riped you off... WHAT is it you want,? you keep filling my emails . send them back get your money buy someone else's and you'll be ok . I'm sure that I will not have a problem selling them polished cut up as you say , in the same condition you purchased them... At this point we had are fun , we are both wasting Porsche space on here..

Karb,
Get your money back, noone will be happy until you do. Costs 8.99 (18.98 total)to send each caliper in it's own usps priority fixed rate box protected with plenty of newspaper, it is almost effortless and the boxes are FREE. David, Present Karb a refund, put your money where your mouth is. $150 is ridiculous for shipping and you know it, the over charge should be returned as well. If the calipers are still in limbo you need to do this in good faith. You didn't make them better under any circumstances, put this issue to rest. Put them back on the market, they'll sell.

refund
The refund will be for 2 rotors, 2calipers and 2 930 hubs, grease cap (all parts are to be returned ) . the shipping charges, were what karb offered because he didn't want to pay the shipping charges cod....he forgot to mention that ... I always like to do shipping cod when I can't approximate the charge ?? no big deal... BTW high lighting the Porsche script is a personal touch I didn't realize it was such a problem... CHEERS

I'm not sure I'd want to do business with either one of them I agree that if the buyer doesn't return them at this point for a full refund of purchase and shipping, then be quiet. One can't accept something and then complain. You either accept them or you do not. There is no middle ground on an issue like this. If this were haggling in a parking lot of the condition and price, then that's different. Leaving negative feedback on eBay w/o trying to properly resolve the problem is poor form. That is one of the reasons I am extremely reluctant to use eBay for either a purchase or to list. In fact, I've had problems with purchases here from time to time.
Right now I have a hood that I sent even BEFORE I got a check go to the east coast on the bus due to GHs error and my customer in WA received the item shipped by the customer behind me in line. A simple swap of labels but hard to track. At least you two know who each other are. |
