factory targa hard top
i have an oem targa hard top that is in great shape, for sale. this top was only available for the 1975 911 targa and is really hard to find expecially in this condition. i think that this top will fit most of the targas except the ones with roller latches. original style black pebble finish with black perforated headliner, good side seals and all ready to install on your targa. offered at $2000.00 obo, thanks. reduced to $1800.00 plus shipping or $1600.00 without the side seals.

bump for more interesting offers... locals prefered because this is a big item and shipping can get expensive.

Shipping isn't really that bad. best to shrinkwrap and then double sleeve with Uhaul mirror boxes. Shouldn't be more than $50 shipping to anywhere in the country via FedEx Ground.

I predict it will take a while to sell. as a special, rare part, these kinds of things aren't for everyone, hope the lowballers have been at a minimum. You may consider putting it on eBay iwth a solid reserve to open up to European buyers where the Pound and the Euro have a lot of buying power.
good luck!

thanks for the advise shaun. there is alot of interest on this but it seems that nobody has the money right now (alot of lowballers). i guess it's going to have to go to ebay and maybe out of the country. thanks again..

Out of the Country!!!!
Well I suppose your right ... cause that's where most all the tarp money went. So Ya gotta go where the moneys at. Good luck, the top appears in excellent condition. .....I can only afford a photo of this top at the moment. Free Blump

I have owned 4 of these tops over time. Best I ever got was $1100 I think and that was with marketing here, ebay, craigslist, PCA webs, etc....that's not to say I couldn't have done better myself, but when I sell something, I usually take the best offer within a few days. I have a pending purchase of an 80 Targa I could actually use this for so I will back up the public lowballing with $1300! :-) Derek

Never owned on but always wanted one...probably just because they are scarce since I live out west where it rarely rains and I rarely use a top (and have two folding ones already). This one seems to be very nice though.

I have one of these. It's sweet. I now am finding out that it's worth 1/3 of what I paid for my car? Wow.
Best targa top made. no noise, no leaks, solid. and fits behind the seats when you want to take it off. like you'd drive a targa with the top on????? --- Tom '75 targa |
