Rebuilt 3,2L Carrera Engine

Motor removed from a 1987 Carrera with 78K total miles. The motor was rebuilt because of worn valve guides. Motor was rebuilt by Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills, CA. Owner Dwaine Demitt was long time ANDIAL Mechanic/Motorbuilder. Motor now has a total of 83K (5K since rebuild). No expense spared on rebuild. Dwaine at Vision Motorsports has done all the maintence on my car since my ownership 2.5 years ago.

Machine work performed by Ollie's.
Valve job with titanium valve spring retainers and new valve springs.
Performance ported and polished heads.
P&C showed very little wear and were re-ringed with Geotz Rings.
Rods reconditioned with new rod bearings and ARP Rod Bolts.
Intake plenums ported and polished.
New 964 Cams
Custom SSI Header System with removable dual 300 cell cats.
Polished Fan with Powder Coat by Al Reed (Will not loose finish).
New Alternator and fan belt.
New Stainless Steel Fuel lines (all fuel lines replaced)
New Bosch Fuel Injectors.
New Clewlitt Engineering Plug Wires
New Cap and Rotor
Rebuilt AFM
New Idle Control Valve.
New two wire cylinder head temp sensor
New Flywheel and Sachs Clutch
Performance Chip with ECU and Wiring Harness
Price: 8K plus shipping

3.2L Engine

The engine is in the car at this moment. I am using the car as a daily driver in Southern California. The motor will be exchanged for a heavily modified 3.6L later this week at Vision Motorsports. They rebuilt the motor and know all about its history. They will also be packaging it up and shipping. The motor runs perfect! It burned one quart of oil in the last 2800 miles. The above MAF is not included with the motor. The MAF had a malfunction and had to be returned to the manufacturer. The AFM is currently on the car.

I will post a few pictures of the exhaust this evening.
