FS 225mm Fan Assembly Great Shape

This fan assembly is off of a 78 911. It is the 225mm version. This is a great piece for racers who want to have a little less restriction and more power than the 245mm fan provides.

The alternator is an internally regulated alternator, so no external regulator is needed if you are looking to upgrade your earlier car.

This is fairly rare since it only came on the 78's and 79's. Not all of them were internally regulated either.

This one is in great shape with good output from the alternator and the fan with no chips and housing with no cracks.

I am looking for $525 for this fan assembly plus shipping.

Thanks

Ed

It will fit the 87 carrera. The fan is a different size. Smaller diameter, but the housing fits the spot. I would rather not separate.

Thanks

Hi,

I would rather not part it out.

Thanks

Ed

This is pretty simple. I want the fan and 87 clubsport wants the housing..... Am I missing something?

The housing alone will not work in combination with Clubsports fan. His fan is 245mm in diameter and the housing is 225mm in diameter.

Ed, got the intermediate shaft the other day. Man you packed that thing so well I think it could have been used as a gorilla toy in the zoo, and it would have survived. Thanks

Rich

Thanks Rich. I agree on 87 clubsports use of the fan. I did explain that in a pm, but not here.

Thanks

Ed
