Cobra Imaola II Kevlar seats FS

SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
These seats came in my 1974 Euro Carrera, and I no longer need them - I've gone to a vintage Recaro. They're Kevlar shells weighing just 12 pounds each, and they've been great for autocross, track, and sporting street use.
These are snug, sized for small to medium framed guys - no lardasses need apply. A 6' guy 185 lbs would be about the limit of comfort on these.
They're in excellent condition - the drivers side has 2 spots where the lap and shoulder belts rub, that are showing a bit of wear, but other than that they're great; just a couple of small scuffs on the backs.
I'm selling them complete with aluminum side mounts drilled for a 911 - provide your own sliders. $550 or Best Offer for the pair.
I have a good factory box to ship these in together - likely to be $75 - 100 depending on location.

I checked UPS online, and the rate varies substantially with small changes in the package size. It looks like I might do better to box them separately - UPS says about $104 to your zip.
I can reduce this to about $75 by doing bubble wrap with cardboard, no box.
BTW, I have a tentative deal on these - buyer says he'll contact me in the morning.

Greyhound is a good option, I agree. Pack them well and spend the extra money for their express option.

Using express is like buying a ticket for your package. Sending it the normal way puts it on standby. The problem with Greyhound is that if the package gets slowed up along the way (pulled off the bus) they can't track where it went! Even a 2 day supposed transit time will turn into 2 weeks. Express keeps the package on-track and gives it a similar priority to a passenger (I don't think they lose too many people)).

You can get tracking with the express option. DON'T send it any other way with them.

That's a good price on the seats. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the kudos, Kev; when it's time to sell, might as well be realistic about pricing - things go a lot quicker and smoother.
Stay tuned, BTW- there may be good deals on some rare and desirable items coming up soon. I don't want to sell my stuff, but the spouse's spending habits may force a clearance sale.
