I have one in NOS condition. Let's chat - I'm not looking for blood money.

John, I have one that has an outside corner of one of the manifold flange stud hole with the corner broken off a little. Half of the hole is still there and should mount fine. There are no clips and no cold start lines. $50 and I'll pay shipping.

Hi Kenik - A NOS stack is probably more than I need. I'm going to have a set bored to S specs so a good used one is probably a better candidate.

Hi Mark - The one I have also has a little piece broken on one of the mounts which is why I would like to replace it. I'm sure it would work fine but I don't really want to spend the money having it bored out. Cheers

Not NOS, but just as nice. No broken bits - it is really pretty and am not looking for a NOS price. I'll take $100+shipping for it.

I don't think there is enough wall thickness to bore the 2.4 T plastic stacks out to 2.4 S specs.

Hi Len... I've had a set done in the past and it works well. There is a Pelican here that does it and Henry over at Supertec does it as well. I just measured the OD of an S stack and a T stack and they are identical.

Fantastic!

How about the T throttles, can they be bored out as well?

Any idea of the cost?

Maybe the stuff I have back in the barn is worth something after all.

Len

Hi Len,

Yes.. the throttle bodies are easy. Above the butterfly is exactly the same size on all the T, E and S throttle bodies so you just need to straight bore the bottoms to 36mm. It is easily done as part of a rebuild. Most need new bushings so that is the expensive part. I'm not sure on cost since I haven't had either done in a while. Any of the guys that rebuild throttle bodies will bore them to S specs. The stacks are a little harder because they are tapered from top to bottom and at an angle.

Cheers,
John

Supertec can take the plastic stacks to 38mm and the TBs to even bigger.

bump - I found a set but I'd really like to find a single.

Kenik - what side is yours? I was hoping to find a single for around $75 shipped.

Lemme look tonight and let you know. For some reason I though both sides are the same? Maybe not...

Thanks Kenik. The left side has the threaded inserts for the micro switch and cold start flapper. Also, the metal sleeves for the clips around the top are in different holes. Other than that they are the same. The lefts can be used on either side without a problem. I need to see what side mine is also - I think it's a left.

OK John, I found all my plastic stacks and this one is the best of all of them. It's the left side. For your project in mind, $75.00 plus shipping.

John

I've got a nice pair if none of the others works out for you.

Thanks guys... I checked mine and it's a left also. I'd like to find a right side (without all the threaded inserts) if possible. I have one other lead on a stack. If that doesn't work out I'll probably take one of these lefts. Cheers, John
