wtb - question regarding paint
can anyone out there help me? im trying to find a source for some oem porsche paint for my 69 911e. spec. tangerine. if anyone knows of where to score some please please please let me know.

Not sure what area you live in but you should look up a paint & bodyshop supply store in the phone book.Call and find out what paint brand they carry and if they dont carry BASF automotive refinish products ask them who does.What you need is a singlestage urethane enamel made by Glasurit and it's their 22 line.Porsches were painted with Glasurit at the factory.This will be as close to OEM as you can get as Porsche stopped selling their own labelled paint many years ago(which had a Glasurit label on it).

As stated above, go to a local store that supplies automotive paint. I bought a Pint of PPG OMNI MTK (Urethane Enamel) for touch ups. If you have a factory color, give them the code and they can whip it up.
