how would that red valance mate up with my 83SC? any fitment issues or differences in lengths or widths?

Should be fine since it came off an 80's P-car. As long as you dont have a turbo, it should fit.

A Carrera valence fits fine, BUT...

You have to take out the SC windshield washer tank (LF fender) and install the Carrera washer bottle.

You may also have to tweak the location of the horns in the other fender.
