WTB Trailing arm for 79 930. Left side.

Left side turbo trailing arm. No spindel or rotor though needed.

Anyone got one? The handbrake got stuck somehow and broke my rotor + the handbrake shoe stopper (?) part. Need a new one to have handbrake on both sides.

Anyone have one reasonably priced?

I have a complete Drivers side, but they aren't cheap.
Why don't you just get yours repaired?

Thanks,
Dave

This will fit right onto my 79 without any problems? The handbrake "ear" and the rest the same?

Doesn't the '77 Turbo arm have different bolt spacing for the brake caliper and doesn't the brake caliper mount to the front instead of to the rear?

this part on the 77 turbo is one of the few evolutionary parts on porsches, where the old way and the new way coexist.

The 77 turbo arm is actually bossed for both types of calipers, its just that they drilled and tapped the front side for the small brakes.
Sooo we machine off the front mount and drill and tap the rear mount, and voila 78- 930 control arm.
(we also machine the area for the sway bar mount)

I got the trailing arm now but i would like to put in a new bearing while it`s out. Can someone link me to the parts i need please. I don`t want to order the wrong parts. Can i just buy the rear bearing like this?
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 999-053-020-01-M34

Will that do?

VOILA?

After spending another 400 to get a new bearing in and taking easter to assemble and drive...... the brake backplate and dustcover has totally different mounting holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I`M GOING TO LOSE MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The worst part is that there is no way to drill new holes without taking off the spindle which i don`t have the tools to do as i paid to have this done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any advice at all here?
