WTB: Complete 3.0 SC engine

Looking for a temporary engine to avoid P-car downtime while I attempt my first engine rebuild (which I expect will take a couple of months.)

Used but solid to keep costs down.
Within driving distance of 27517 (I assume shipping an engine is not easy or cheap.)
Interest in buying it back when I'm done would be great, I'll take good care of it.

I should mention it's going into an '80SC

With all due respect I think your estimate of a couple of minutes is optimistic.

You might want to check w/ Bruce (flat6pac on this board). Last I heard he had a couple engines ready to go. He's in Spring Hope, NC. He did a complete rebuild of my 3.0 in three weeks at a very resonable cost.

Yup, talked to Bruce, he was very helpful but the only thing he has ready to go at the moment is a 3.2.

I'm talking to rumlyne about his 930/10...
