FS: 911 rear sway bar
My dad bought this sway bar for his 74 targa but didnt end up using it. I do not know who made it and I cant find any markings, so I'll include as much information as I can. It has 2 holes for adjustment, appears to be 15mm (see pic, I think I measured it right) and comes with the additional hardware shown. The hardware looks to be some kind of custom fabricated pieces that allow the bar to be attached to a car that doesnt have mounts on the trailing arms. Just a guess, all of the bushings appear to be nylon. If anyone knows who made this bar or what the extra hardware is for, please post the info as it will help the sale. Looking to get $130+shipping for everything.

Just sold a similar used version yesterday for less, I don't know who makes it. Someone posted saying they were running one and it worked great on their early car. The brackets on the left clamp around the torsion bar tube and the brackets on the right clamp around the flat metal brace on the steel control arms (where the ball pin for the stock bar mounts)

Interested. Will it fit a 1970T? If so will you take $100.00 for it. Not too far from you, how much to ship to NH 03278? Thanks Darryl

It's a 'Carrera' bar mfg by H&H sold by Karrousel back in the 70's - 80-'s.
You have the complete kit - for a car that lacked the frame mount and control arm ball. Works very well, just stay away from the 'full stiff' position (2nd holes from the end) - that position will snap the drop links in a heartbeat. Bill K fwiw, there was a matching front one ('Carrera' by H&H) FS on a recent thread. (also for a car that lacked any factory hardware) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/532758-914-911-930-anti-sway-bar-set-front-22-mm-used.html I've had this exact set-up on my 73 since 1976 - but I do recommend getting a rear bracket welded on to replace the 'c' clamps that go around the torsion bar tube.

Bill, thanks for that info, now we have a positive ID on exactly what this is. That said, it should fit the 70T. DCOP, sending you a PM now.
