Twin Plug Ported heads

I don't want to let these go but I've totally changed directions.. Turbo heads (can be used with normally aspirated engine) Ti retainers, high compression springs. Nicely ported. The value of the parts here far exceeds the asking price.

dis-assembled one head to get some requested specs. giudes are very good, valves in nice shape. high compression springs with titanium retainers. valve grind appears recent and is clean. intake port is 40mm at the opening, tapering to 35mm at the bottom of the throat, beautifully done.

I did some figuring, just to buy the valves, springs, retainers, etc. would be over $1500. add to that the cost of porting, machining for twin plug, guide install, and a valve grind. PLUS the cost of a set of good core original turbo heads. and you're way more than double this price.

valves have the follow numbers on them, I hope this will give you exactly what you need to know . stamped clearly on the top of the valve shaft. TRW T30279/k 04 and TRW T3071/2k23

I'll take pictures of the springs if people wish more pictures. these are 930 heads from a 930 I beleive running 930 cams I don't know about SC cams and what you would need to do so far as shimms. I was going the turbo route with these. These will work with non turbo engines..

Cheers

356911930 I sent a response to you first pm from my iPhone it seems you didn't get it. I also replied earlier this morning to your second pm. sorry but I thought you had responses.

Have these heads been machined for larger P/C dia or are they stock 930, 95mm 3.0L P/C heads?

Ok just looking at my pictures I see no chamfer and I don't understand how these would be machined.. what are you referring to for machined work? Have you looked at the pictures? maybe you could indicate on the photo to where you are referring.

You can see the RR350 alloy number that was only used in 930 heads, and date code of 1-86 with 1-85 on one of the heads so they are 930 heads made in 1986 and one was made in 1985.

They may be factory machined for a 97mm bore but you would have to measure to see.
I don't see the small bevel at the edge of the squish band on these either?

ok I'm not certain if I measured the correct points but I went from the inside edge to inside edge where there is the small bevel at the edge. It appears to measure 94mm I don't have a fancy caliper set but did measure with a very good quality wood working tool. Sorry that's the best I can do. The heads don't appear to be machined.. so far as I know they are ported 930 heads.

still available to first serious buyer or off to Ebay

I've had a change of heart and I'm going to keep these on the shelf for a future engine.. sorry, but no point in selling these for less that it would cost to replace them in the future.

good call. at that price it's hardly worth selling them.

Hey, I have a crazy idea... Why not send me a bill of sale for the roller you sold me over a year ago?

I can't understand the reluctance to follow through on this?

Might be interested in these heads, I am doing a top end rebuild at the moment. Still available?

I'll have to check with my builder if these are usable for my engine, and if this would be a better solution than rebuilding my own.

How about 3.4 P/Cs are they sold?

Please let me know

Thanks
