Eibach Rear Coilovers

This is a pair of rear coilovers, appear to be unused. Took these in trade towards my transmission - simply passing them along!

Model is 79627, part # is 0900.225.0450.
Free length - 9.00
Diameter - 2.25
Rate - 450
Block length - 4.02
Spring Travel - 4.98
Black load - 2239

$900 shipped in the US. PayPal is fine at $900 if sent as PAYMENT OWED else my price is $925 with regular PayPal.

porschecabATcomcastDOTnet for quickest response.

Dan,

I did some surfing around the Eibach page and couldn't find any application for 911/930 on there. Are these special made?

Thanks

Brendon

These are Bilstein "RSR" shocks that Porsche used on some of the coil over race cars during the 70's/80's. Good deal too with the Eibach ERS springs. These ones have interesting looking upper spring hats that I have not seen before.

I have the same coilovers on my '79 race car. They work good. I like the double spanner rings that you double-nut against each other for setting the spring height.

Although i'd rather the springs sat low on the shock housing from a weight location standpoint, its not a big deal. The springs are a tight fit into the shock tower opening with just a slight bit of rubbing in a small, isolated area at teh bottom of the shock tower opening. Nothing of any consequence IMO. Having the springs up high does make adjusting the ride height a bit easier because the lock rings are within easy reach in the wheel well. No need to crawl under the car when up on low jack stands.

I agree good deal. I think the records that came with my race car show these being more like $900 each in 2007.
