Exclamation Garage cleanout part deux! Everything must go! -'69T parts

Long story short: Navy moving me across the country on less than a month's notice. All this stuff must be gone before mid December. Some items will go as low as free + shipping.

All parts except for case are from a '69 911T 2.0, all aluminum castings are dated '68.

Complete rocker arm set. Includes everything pictured. 11 full sets are in good shape, but there is one arm and one shaft that I wouldn't use. There is some localized galling on that one set, but they may be salvageable in the right hands.
I'm willing to sell in pieces if necessary, but I would prefer to sell as a kit.
$80 OBO, individual parts: negotiable.

Case: FREE! Damaged intermediate shaft bearing hole, damage from floppy chain. might be made useable in the right hands. Nothing broken, no cracks. Could be a great coffee table with a bit of creativity!

Crank: $80 OBO (2.0T)

Heads: $250 set or $50ea OBO

Cam towers: $20ea

Upper valve covers (mag): $10ea, cracked one is free.

Intermediate shaft: FREE! aluminum gear is in unacceptable condition, rest of shaft looks ok, but check the size on the bearing closest to the oil pump.

Chain box covers: $20/pair OBO

Idlers and gears: $5 each piece. These are in good shape (they came from another motor) Free for the one with no gear.

Intermediate shaft cover: $5 OBO

Crankshaft pulley: $10 This is in good shape.

'69 Washer bottle: $40. SOLD! Ugly from undercoat, but will clean up, and motor works well.

Bosch Blue Coil: $10. Installed, but only used once, replaced with MSD coil for 6AL. This is not for CDI ignition!

914 Charcoal Canister: $20 In great shape. Installed in my 911's trunk by PO, but not hooked up.

Screen and sump plate: $5 for the pair.

2 #8 main bearing O rings, new in bag. FREE!

Not pictured:
Full set 2.0/2.2 Case through bolts with all washers and nuts $30 OBO NO RUST!

'69 fuel tank: $50. Has some internal rust but no pinholes, no exterior rust, no dents, and was still pressure tight. Just needs some POR or Eastwood sealer to be like new. Local pickup preferred, but I'm willing to meet you halfway if you're within an hour or two of DC. Willing to ship if I must.

See anything you want, but don't like the price? Make an offer, I'm a motivated seller!

Feel free to email or PM if you have any questions! I'm happy to take more pictures or give more details on any of it.

Thanks!

-Dan

Yes, it will fit on your 72, but you'll have fun getting the washer pump back on the bottle. Some of the most cussing I did on my car. It is possible. I recommend a blunt end of the tire tool (inside the bottle) to push the plastic through from the inside.

I'm sorry man, it went to the first person to say "I'll take it." In other words, the next post.

He's already paid. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Ben,
I'm answering your question in public, just so everyone knows what's up with the canister.

This is not a '69T part, the '69 had no canister of any kind, it simply used a condensation chamber and a plain old vent tube. The canister for '70 had a pair of hard lines run from the front to the back of the car. To find out if your car is set up for a canister, look in the far front of the driver's side of the engine compartment. If your car is set up for a canister, there will be two approximately 1/2 inch tubes sticking up. One of these provides pressure from the fan shroud, one of them goes to the air cleaner, the small hose on the canister hooks up to the fuel tank vent.

This canister is meant for a 914. It probably could be used in a 911 that was meant to have a canister in the first place, but a '69T was not.

I hope it's useful to somebody! It's in like new condition.

-Dan

Hi Dan,

I might as well take the case, fuel tank, case-throught-bolts, #8 bearing o-rings, and chain box covers, screen sump plate, intermediate shaft cover, and blue coil ( if Tim Boyer doesn't want it). PM sent again. Thanks.

Just a important note:

The Bosch blue coil WILL NOT work with any CDI ignition. So, anyone with a post '68 911, this won't work for you. This will work for just about any Bug, Bus, Vanagon, 356, 912, 914, or anything else that has points and a condenser.

If you have a 3 or 5 pin Bosch CDI box, MSD, Crane, or any other Capacitive Discharge Ignition, this coil WILL NOT WORK.

Just FYI...

-Dan
