FS - 3.0l ENGINE

For sale- 1978 3.0L SC engine , from what I remember reading, these engines have the big valve cylinder heads.

I just bought this engine 4-5 months ago for my 1967 SWB project, I have 3 projects to finish before I will ever have time to work on this 1967 project, instead of having the engine sit for few years maybe somebody here needs a engine .

I bought this engine from a super nice seller that was putting a 965 3.3 L turbo engine in his car . From what he told me its in super condition and ran great, it just needs some fresh valve cover gaskets.

I opened up the valve covers and the camshafts are beautiful with no signs of any sludge or nasty buildup .

I paid $2900. Let me know if interested.

I could be interested, but you'll need to get an accurate shipping cost first LOL.

Thanks for the interest.

Shipping by freight is surprisingly reasonable. It will probably ranges between $350-390 for a big 3.0l engine on a fully boxed in pallet. It may be less expensive but I will check monday.

It does have to be picked up at the freight depot though to keep costs down.

let me know

Don't make any foot work on my behalf yet. I'll let you know if I become more serious. I wouldn't want you to get hosed again like the fan on shipping was my half joke though.

Finally have some pictures, I removed the plug wires a while ago because I was going throw them in the trash. I still have them though if I can find them.

ENGINE TYPE #- 930/04
ENGINE # - 6291831

This engine needs a good cleaning and engine tin repainted ect....

Also included is the fuel pressure regulator needed for the fuel injection

Also have the rear muffler, I can get a pictures if wanted. This engine has headers without heat.

When you moving back to BC?

Do you have compression/leakdown numbers?
