New and uninstalled rear bumper guard for early 1965-73 Porsche 911's.
There is some scratches from moving around in storage but can be easy fix with a touch up of some type rubber paint to blend in (see pics). Black in color (maybe used on European models??). Was gonna use it as a spare but no longer need it so it could go to any RS type or any restoration 911's. New rubber strip and the whole rear bumper is new as well with a minor blemishes on the paint (it is thick and high quality paint that is like a powder coating type paint as a direct OEM from Germany). Please check out pics and see it for it is new every where. $75. Shipped. Paypal. PM for faster replies if you are interested. Thanks for looking! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Not to HiJack this thread but my 73 came with those awful sponge bumperettes. It took me a while but I located a set of 4 just like the example above. 2 came from Europe and 2 from the states.
The car looks so much better with these than it did with the sponge bumperettes. The only other modification I had to make was to replace the rubber strip on the front bumper. see: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/602692-new-look.html

.... could be mistaken, but I think I read somewhere that these were limited production in late '72 for the early '73 cars (and some refer to as "unobtainium").... before the stretched out black rubber guards were used.

black bumperette
Your right about these being unobtainium. Porsche no longer makes them. You could always powder coat a standard bumper but the finish is different on the black bumpers from Porsche.

![]() Up until last week, Porsche still had (1) original NOS black bumperette in the warehouse. That bumperette will be paired up with the one in this thread and will be installed on a friend's early '73 S Thanks Arad! -K

Sorry to hijack the thread but if anyone has a single rear black bumperette I'm interested.
