75 Targa Tub with partial Strosek 964 speedster kit installed

I don't know if anyone would be interested in this and have no idea what to ask for it.

This is a 1975 Targa with the bar removed and a roll bar system welded in place. The person I bought this car from had a dream of making a racecar but life got In the way. I was told the front was upgraded to '84' parts. Not sure what he rear is but there isn't much left of it. The front hubs feel tight but the rears have play in the bearings and I'm not going to disassemble to check individual parts. I can bolt something on to the car so it rolls even if that means making the Porsche bolt pattern on a cheap wheel (it's not like you'll be driving it home).

I have the front fenders and hood for the car as well as a rear bumper. The bumper has some cracks in it. The entire kit is fiberglass. I've been crawling around the car and haven't seen any body rust which is very surprising for the year. I have no glass for the car as I got none. The doors are stripped bare. If this doesn't sell, I'm going to strip what is left of value on the car and scrap the rest which would really be a shame.

I'm not looking to get rich on the tub so tell me what it is worth. I know rules say you must put a price but I have no idea how to price this thing. Maybe suggestions from members then re list with a price??

I think you'll do better parting it out. As it is, it is very difficult to assess what you've got to come up with a value. There is almost no market for Targa shells today. Another member here has a very complete roller (I believe it is a Carrera, but might be an SC) with Fuchs for $2600 and it has languished for a while. Customs like yours just aren't in high demand, but the individual parts may add up to a meaningful amount.

Thanks for the advice. I have considered parting but I don't know what to do about the flares that have already been installed. The fenders and hood are easy as is the speedster cover. Any thoughts?

If anyone is interested in the flares, I can cut and remove but I believe I'd have to take some of the rocker with it because there are extensions on the rockers that are part of the flare.

Something else, I have the title for this car. It will come with Bill Of Sale AND Title. I'm waiting for the previous owner to send me the VIN plate that he had removed while making modifications.

front clip looks good. This item would need to be sent by freight carrier and I'm sure would get expensive.
