Another scammer alert

I had two responses to a WTB and they were sent to my personal email rather than a PM and they were from this guy:

He sent a bunch of pictures too. How lucky is that, I better get my money off to him right away before someone else steals it from under me. Gee, don't the creeps get it, we will out you.

I recently received a similar e-mail from "Bill Shelley" along with pictures replying to a WTB ad. I particularly like the "Paypal is dormant" comment so please send Money gram.

the guy is smart and knows auto parts - he knows correct pricing - - and he works all makes sites - Porsche MG - Datsun - Mopar - etc etc

yes, he got me on a WTB datsun cam

- via a site that one has to be a logged-in member of in order to see the forums & classifieds

I let down my guard 'cuz he came thru as a site member - and claimed to have the nearly unobtanium cam i was looking for

... so it goes - just the price of an E-ticket at Disneyland

He asks for money gram .
I refuse money gram .
I ask for cash on delivery .
He refuses cash on delivery .
I tell him I'm from England originally and have friends and relatives in his area to cash-collect .
He no longer emails .

There are a lot of guys on here inc. myself who have GMAIL accounts. Shouldn't pay whole lot of attention to that part unless the other factors are present. We don't want to scare anyone off from good buyers/sellers based solely on a Gmail account..

Posted WTB for 930 Short gearbox. Received a beautiful photo via email from a guy in Las Vegas. He wanted moneygram payment because his Pay Pay account was "dormant". I looked up his address on Google earth and saw it was an apartment outside Vegas. Contacted Moneygram and asked whether I could get money back if there was any problem. They said "NO" and said to use Pay Pal. Communication ended when I demanded transaction by Pay Pal. It was a beautiful photo tho.......
