matt how were you going to mount these? : just c -clamp onto tail pipe? which exhaust system. ? did you test mount and then test decibel level?

i am going to lime rock with my new build in a few weeks and am quite uneasy about it not passing..

were you going to also pack the pipe with steel wool or something?

these units of yours might do the trick instead of turndowns for me.

Hi Frank.

They clamped onto my megaphones.
I bought them for Lime Rock but for other reasons could not go.
My engine is a race prepped twin plugged 3.2 w 46mm PMO's.
They did significantly reduce the db level.
I did not pack w steel wool.
I do not remember the exact db levels pre and post but I was looking for a miracle. My car is so loud that getting to 89 db for LR was a Hail Mary.

Thanks matt mine also is a race prepped 3.4 , twin plug with , soon-to-be 50pmos. I have burns ss race mufflers but its still loud... ... So the od of your megaphone at the tip is 3in, 3/8,, which allows clamping directly? Can you change out this pipe on the back end of the t-101 to fit something smaller like 2inch od?

I believe so.
The back does separate via the 6 bolts.
Also, I posted that I will include the clamps that worked for me.
