I have a NEW never used ISIS Power 2 cell starter kit plus RF remote control (2 key FOBs and RF receiver module) for sale. I was going to install this on an aborted project. It is just sitting in my garage.

In short, this wiring system come from Aerospace (fighter planes, initially) and sets up a Control Area Network between the Power distribution cells in your vehicle for powering the various circuits. Switched grounds are used as triggers and the cells can be programmed to respond based on the input triggers.

I called over to ISIS to find out more about the products I have. The master cell and power cell are the latest hardware versions. There is one firmware upgrade to be installed, which handles freezing temperatures slightly differently.

The kit I have for sale comes with the programmer to update the firmware in the cells (or to create a custom program).
ISIS sent me the firmware files which would need to be applied as they are specific to a device serial number.

The programmer is another $332 from ISIS. *And not normally part of the basic 2 cell kit.
