FS: 8 & 9.5 x 17" Fuchs (SC/Carrera Body)

Selling my set of True Design Wheels (TDW) 8 & 9.5 x 17" Fuchs

Bottom line up front, one of 9.5" wheels has cracks in the Fuchs center, so it needs to be retired, repaired, or restricted to the street (maybe). I've had this happen on another set and had the center cut out a replaced w/ no problems.

The 8" in the front rock! I run 235/40s, they fit great, and you could get even more tire under there if you wanted to.

We can do this a couple of ways, the whole set for $1800, or separate them; $1300 for the 8s, $500 for the good 9.5 and I'll throw the cracked one in for free.

OBO, of course.

Here are some pics:

Possibly, but the only thing that I'm in the market for right now is CCW Classics.

I traded a set of those off, but they were too big for SC/Carrera flares. But I do have an assortment of other stuff.

Dang, that's a shame one of them cracked. Jim made some nice wheels & I really like the brushed finish look.

Like these? 18 in. dia. is all the rage nowadays in race tire offerings

Yeah, I wish I could just send it and another doner 6x16 to Jim to have it redone. I've seen rumor that TDW didn't really close but I thought that he had heath problems and might have passed? Heck of nice guy and sad if that's true.

There are plenty others that I think would do it but I haven't looked into it. I'll ship to whoever somebody wants me to if they want to arraign the repair/center replacement. You could use a 6 or 7 x 16 for the donor.

Those 18" CCWs are a great deal for somebody but I'm sticking w/ 17" CCW.

Byron, your tenacity and enthusiasm have no equals. That Targa has my POC number on it! 811

That number was for the 2012 Parade Rally, not anywhere near as much fun as the race track.. Think of anything else can trade you??

I can't think of anything to trade for right now.

Somebody has to a least want the front 8" wheels? They're are a great fit, lots of rubber up front, track or street, and you can run them as is or refinish them to whatever you want.

Hey Byron, do you have a Recaro Pole Position or similar you'd like to trade?
