Received the usual response to my WTB ad from registered user bzieg.

"Attached are photos of my 911 sc deck lid, it's in very good shape and condition. I'm asking $350 shipped for it. I'll be shipping via UPS or FedEx whichever you prefer and shall accept payment via Money gram as my PayPal is currently dormant. What's your shipping address?

On the outside chance it was legit, I responded asking for more information. He responded:

"You can send a Money Gram from any local Walmart store or CVS store close to you. I am currently confined to bed rest at home as I'm recovering from a spinal cord surgery. My wife works with FedEx, so I will have her pick up payment and arrange shipping for me.Here are the details you would need for payment via Money Gram transfer:

Address: 327 White Dogwood Ln, Ocoee, FL 34761, Florida
After payment, do email me the details below from the Money gram payment receipt:

On further research, the address listed is a vacant estate owned house that's been on the market for 3 years (Looks nice if anyone is interested in a FL townhome!!)

I wonder how much money these idiots take in every year scamming people. You know they probably troll every for sale website that they can find.

Out of curiosity, what action is taken by forum mods on a warning notice such as this? It does not do a lot of good to ban him, because he will simply register a new account. Can his IP be logged and banned? I am curious where the user is actually located.

Hey Black, unfortunately i can't locate a username for him in my email. he sent me an email that referenced my pelican WTB add and requested that i correspond through email.
associated email address is: venturaj7757@hotmail.com in the event that you are able to connect him to a username that way...

Classic! I researched his name when i looked him up, rather than his email address. Funny stuff. btw, from one of the scam warnings out there associated with his email address, his pelican handle is: vvjoen

I got the same from him. It's funny that he used old pictures from listings here. I google searched the item I was looking for. He took pictures from the top listings in the search. Quite pathetic.
