FS: 3.0L ROW Engine
I sold this engine a few weeks ago to a fellow in Europe. While getting it ready for shipping, he traded his car for a 964RS and did extremely well in the deal. So he has asked me to sell it.
It is a ROW engine so it's at 188hp and a lot more torque than a US engine. While it was running when in an accident (light T-bone on a Targa), it has been in storage for 1-2 years and should be taken down and cleaned and inspected. Motor is as shown but now with valve covers (Turbo lower) and a correct distributor and chain box covers. No tensioners, I'd use Turbo with a collar. It's on a palette ready to go. $3500 + shipping. SOLD There is also an excellent front sheet metal tray for it for an additional $250 ![]() ![]() ![]()

So it is a partial long block? Without tensioners, cam covers and FI?
Thanks,Kevin |

It is possible that I am misreading the numbers on the engine (using phone), I thought that the 930-10 engine was the only one to produce the higher hp?
I could be wrong. |

Simon's Porsche 911 SC Site Just search 930/09 and it gives you the data I posted.

It looks like the later SC's had much higher compression (8.6 vs 9.8) to achieve the higher h.p. figures.
