Photos Will Not Upload-Moderator Please Help

Hello,

I have posted photos from my apple device without problems before. Recently updated to iOS 9.1. Now I am unable to post photos. I even tried to post the exact same photos that were posted to board before without luck. Any suggestions?

Mike

And I thought I was the only one having the same problem posting photos from my iPad. Hope administrators can help.

You guys might be out of luck, here's why.
I encountered the same exact problem immediately after upgrading my iPad mini's OS to iOS 9 from iOS 8. The upgrade changed the photo file format of my existing photos and all I would take in the future to a new one that isn't compatible with Pelican's server OS. I went to an Apple/Mac store and learned there was only 2 solutions:
Download/upload an app that changes the new photo format to one of the three compatible with Pelican's OS which requires use every time you want to upload a photo to Pelican's site (the thought of having to do that was instantly disturbing)

or, the second (which I was told I was even lucky to have been able to do) which was to restore my iPad back to using iOS 8. I was told this could only be done for a brief period (7-10 days) immediately following Apple's intro/release of iOS9 and had to do with a system software "signature" on iOS8 and its expiration after that brief period. I did this at the apple/mac store probably a month or so ago.

I continue to ignore the settings general red tag on my mini Apple notifying me to upgrade to iOS 9 and was also told the photo format change within that OS upgrade was made by Apple/Mac primarily for Apple phones and some new tecnological feature on them which I won't ever care about nor buy nor want to use.
You may want to get to your nearest Apple/Mac store to verify this scenario

Same issue..I'm pretty sure Pelican could accept the new format with a few tweaks.

dude, just turn down the camera resolution a bit. no point in taking 21 megapixels with a crappy cell phone lens.

Yes, you're taking your photos in too high a resolution. I have a Galaxy S6 and when I turned down the resolution, they work fine. The photos don't appear any less clear either.

Don't think resolution will help with iOS issues. Any input from Moderator would be appreciated. Can't believe that the webmaster didn't allow for software updates.

I was referring to the Android issue. Apple is another issue entirely.

My android doesn't allow resolution changes. All pics are huge! I have to email to myself at reduced size then post. Sucks butt.

As recommended to me by other Pelicans, I downloaded tapatalk, you can download pics from that app. Not being electronic savvy it's a bit of a pita. Better than no pics. Tim

I've been whining about this for months. Droid issue also. My issue seems to to have something to do with file extension being jpeg vs. jpg From what I understand they're supposed to be the same.. just the jpeg is a longer file extension.
And yes I've tried changing the extension.

I was pretty surprised as I can seem to load pics everywhere else.. even Rennlist's quirky site.
