In addition to the above I am collecting parts for 914 -6 GT Schmuck project I'm embarking on.
looking at gearbox options: likely go for 915 side sift with wevo, bugat5speed, velios upgrades. Also looking for various chassis suspension and other upgrades - contemporary and period for the project. thanks michel |

I can suggest and possibly provide some front strut and brake options for your '76 and the 914-6 GT.
They could include builds on your existing struts (Boge or Bilstein) or components I provide. As you mentioned in the post, they can be modified with raised spindles, ER bump steer and upper strut camber plates are options. If you have seen some of my posts you can see the level of build and finish I can provide. I'll be more than happy to discuss this and provide what I can to assist with both projects. I'm not sure how authentic the GT build will be or your use plans, but I'd certainly suggest you consider chassis reinforcements (longitudinal, rear sub-frame and rear shock towers). The GT build plan with cage work may help to do some of that. Feel free to reach out if you think I can help or just want to get additional input. Rich |
