General question in the spirit of sharing / building knowledge.

Is it fair to say that if the car has a 915 rather than a g50, that the splines are the same for all 915 cars? Same would go for G50. That'd open up the market to owners that have 915 transmission cars?

I goofed - I have a SWB car and these won't work absent a significant amount of work. Sorry!

Either I don't understand the question or you might be confused--those splines fit over the torsion bars, and have nothing to do with the gearbox's splines.

Correct, has nothing to do with trans. Indirectly, it is a related point. G50 cars have shorter torsion bars and believe the spline count outer and inner may be different for Carrera. Hence asking if it's safe to assume that up to 86, the spring plates are the same as 74 and up. I found a catalog item to imply this. My use would be for a 76 that doesn't have height adjusters. Toe and camber only.

Sorry to hijack tread to discuss something that belongs in tech forum.

I'll take them. Are they still available?
