Original tire brand for 912E

Can anyone tell me what brand and size tires were on the Porsche 912E from the factory?

For the 5.5x14 Fuchs the tires are 185HR14. These are not low profile tires and resemble the higher aspect tires found on older cars. As for brands I’d guess any of the European suppliers of the mid ‘70’s. One 912e I had years ago had Uniroyals on the alloys. For cars delivered with steel disc wheels 5.5x15, the tire size should be 185/70x15. Here’s the info from the PET catalog:

Often the original Kardex for individual cars showed the original tire brand and size. You might want to call 1-800-PORSCHE, give them your VIN and ask if they can tell you that info
