66 SWB park brake connection

I have a 66 912. I purchased park brake cables and the little tube that is supposed to connect with the cable and the shoes. The stuff doesn’t fit. I searched and only real photos that are showing is the LWB 69+ cars. My car has no provisions for the little white plastic clip. The tube they sold me will not go over the cable. The hole in the trailing arm is too big for the cable to bolt into for adjustment. Even the tube inside the trans tunnel is too big for the cable end to go over. Experts say I have the correct parts. But they do not work. Would someone with a SWB please show me what’s what? Thanks

tube 65-68 is diff length than 69+ make sure you have right one
