how to connect these 2 wires
Hello, these two wires (gray) are broke, supposed to be connected that is why my right headlight does not raise. If I touch them together the light DOES come up but what kind of electrical connection should I use for such tiny wire in a small short space? Also what is the fat part?, is it just a metal connection?

buy a new diode and solder to intstall

.... and add heat shrink or an insulation sleeve to the bare conductors.
