914-6 14-pin main harness connector

Hi,
I need help. Does anybody have a good picture (or wiring diagram) of the main 14-pin harness connector with the cap removed (the one that is connected to the main relay board).
I have a brown-white (maybe brown-gray) wire arriving at this connector and have no clue where it plugs in. Even worse...this wire is not referenced in Art Zaft 914-6 wiring diagram.
Thanks for any help.
Philippe

First: Do you have an original 914-6? One with a "914" VIN? Conversion cars would more likely have four-cyilnder wiring and parts.

The Art Zapf diagram does show what should go into the 14-pin plug, but as you say there is no brown/white there.

The 71 four-cylinder diagram shows a brown/white wire going to pin #11 in the 14-pin connector on the front of the relay board. The other end goes nowhere, but there is a component number there that says "Sportomatic (optional)". In later cars that was repurposed to run the heater blower motor.

Hi Dave,
I have a genuine 914-6. In the meantime, I got the answer to my question. The brown/white wire is going to pin 9 of the main harness connector at the relay board.
There is apparently a slight difference between the euro and us version. The white tracer is horizontal on my euro version while the us version has the white tracer going along the wire.
The purpose of this wire still remains a mystery for me.
It's an "undocumented" feature :-)
Here below you will find the correct pin assignment (when looking at the backside of the connector):
1 Yellow
2. Blue
3. Red
4. Green
5. Yellow/Red
6. Green/Black
7. Green
8. Green/Red
9. Brown/White
10. Gray/Brown
11. Black/Red
12. Gray/Brown
13. Brown
14. Black/Purple

All the best.

Philippe

there is a factory 914-6 wiring diagram available but it is in black and white with colors of the wires indicated.
