Pulling off rusty brake rotors.
So, on to the next stage.....
Does anybody have a tip for the guy who has almost no (mechanics) tools that is trying to pull off the rusty brake rotors? Of course I mean without bending or breaking expensive-to-replace stuff. Any points from experience are welcome. My Clymer manual makes it sound easy. But I'm sure it is easy on a new car. --Case....

the front one is held on by the hub nut. it's a nut with an allen head bolt in it. the back is held on by 2 screws into the stub axle. have to remove rear caliper before you can remove rotor.

When you remove the two screws in the rears put them in the other two holes in the rotor and they bemove jacking screws to get the rotor off.
If too much force is needed to turn them, use a persuader(dead blow hammer) to loosen it. Thats persuader on the rotor no the screws. Get new rotor screws to replace the old ones, I got ones with allen heads. Grade shouldnt matter as they only hold the rotor on when you take off the wheel.

I have all four calipers off now. For the front, I'm going to have to buy the correct allen wrench to get the screw out. I don't have one that fits (metric).
I did notice the second set of holes in the rear rotor. I saw they were tapped but I didn't put it together that just running the screws in would jack the rotor out. I think I'm going to have to use the hammer & blaster technique because I'd expect the rust to have a stronger hold than those threads. I tried to use the caliper mounting to wedge something in there and push off the rotor, but she's solid. Dead blow hammer is the kind with shot inside, right? --Case...

i just finnished all 4 corners. one screw was hopelessly mangled and froze up. CAREFULLY drilled the taper/head off the screw. tap, tap, tap. came off. srayed remaining bit of screw down and turned it out with a set of vice grips. weird, the ones on the parts car that has been sitting forever came out easily. going to start a top 10 list why a parts car is crutial. i know what the #1 will be. "so you know how things go back together".

Finally got them off. The jacking screws were the trick. But the screws that held the rotor on didn't fit the other holes. I had to buy a couple of bolts that fit. It's definitely a place where the right tool (this time the bolt) makes all the difference in the job!
