i have a couple of boots/sleeves that have been laying around for ever. p #914 423 593 00. are these the ones for the heater/bellow wires? the date on the package is 5/26/92.

My parts book says they are specifically for the 914-6 throttle linkage--at the firewall end (I presume) of the throttle cable.

well i put them on. they seem to be the ticket. used a dab of rtv to secure them to the tubes the bellow wires run through.

The parts book says 914.424.592.00 for the ones at the firewall for the E-brake cables. And it also lists 914.424.591.00 for the brake end of the E-brake cable! I don't remember seeing one of those actually on the car before...

dave, here's what they look like. they would never fit on the ebrake cable any where, the outboard hole is tiny. i noticed pp dates the part with what appears to be the pull date. if that's the case i bought those almost 10 years ago to the date. should i dig the bag with the label out of the trash? is that some kind of high dollar collectable?

I ve got those on my e-brake cable, but they are in ratty shape. Yours are pretty
