That would never happen to me. The trick is, make you teener so unorthadox that no one can handle it but you. That way there's no change they can beat you in your car.
Mess up the shifting linkage adjustment, adjust the clutch so that it engages 1/4" from the floor, put 200# springs in the back with stock fronts, put 40# of air in the front and 20 in the back, run stock 20 year old michelin tires in front with victoracers in back, double or triple the stock horsepower, etc ;)

The first time Doug sat in the car was in the staging lanes. I had done a pass in 54 sec. ....His was 52 sec as I recall....course I HAD warmed the tires :D. He got down to 49 and I....didn't.

The next day, with 4 passes under his belt the day before....prolly 3 miles in the car, his first pass was .4 off the TTOD. He only knocked off a futher .2.....proving he is only human:rolleyes:

That's you problem JP, your car is set up right. If you had it all jacked up like one of my teeners he woulda spent at least 5 laps just trying to figure out how it works ;) By that time he would climb out and say what a POS. See? I know what you mean tho. At our AXs I regularly get beat by a couple seconds by a girl.
She's drivin an RS clone with a carbed 3.2 and stickies, but she's still a girl. I hate that.
