throttle cable
My 76 was converted to 44 Webers, will a stock cable work or does it have to be modified. Is there a direct fit one available.
I'm still looking for late model Perdrini's, unpolished and a source for an original style (black & gray) carpet set. Thanks |

The stock cable will work with the carbs. I run one on mine with a pair of 45's. No Pedrini's however, I just never liked them.

I just replaced my throttle cable on my 74 w/Weber 44IDFs... I bought the Terry Cable from our illustrious host. Very easy, I must say, to install - I was lucky because I had no carpet in at the time.
One thing I was concerned about was that my cable was about 10 or so inches longer than I needed... so i had to cut it.. I need to find something to bind the threads of the cable before they start to unravel.. any ideas? I suppose I could use a burnz-o-matic on the frayed ends to 'solder' them together?

Solder works and you can solder the wires before you cut for a nice, clean cut. Also, check out the cable ends at bike shops.
