Well I have nothing but positive things to say for Tijuana paint and body shops. Got it's first wash today. Paint, bodywork and reupulstered for $800. Shot with Dupont Centari.

The shop was Los Panchos. I bought my own paint at Finish Master. Paint was single stage acrylic enamel, but the guys shot it with clear afterwards. Total turn around time was 1 week. Thats alot quicker than any place I know of in The US!!!

Yes the Jambs and the trunks were shot too. Also, the rust spot under the corner of the front windshield was grinded out and a metal plate was welded in. Not just bondoed up. ALSO THANKS TO JOHN ROGERS FOR HIS TJ RECOMMENDATION !!!!

when you took it there - how "together" was it? Had you removed the bumpers, seals, lenses and all yourself before hand?
Thanks

That smooth black top looks goooood. Los Ponchos can also do things like wheel polishing, headliners for the Targa top, dash tops recovers, carpet, door panels, etc, etc, etc. You have to spell out in detial what you want and get prices for each item.

I'll bet we can get enough of us Right Coast folks together to fill up a car hauler if they want to do a load of cars. That's a great paint job!
So does this mean us 914 folks are all for NAFTA now? |
