[Event] April Assault - - North Cal 250 Mile Tour
April Assault
Northern California April 16, 2000 RoadGlue.com, the PCBA, and the Northern California Audi TT/S4 club have come together to bring you a full day of scenic, adventurous driving though some of California’s most beautiful and challenging roads. We'll be meeting at 9:00am on Sunday morning April 16th at the Petaluma Fairgrounds. We are counting on a high attendance and I would like to show 'em up and have more 914's then any other make of Porsche! Do your part and show up. Since Roadglue.com doesn’t have an official member directory, all 914s and their owners are welcomed to attend, just sign up using the link mentioned at the bottom of this email. The Route: From the Petaluma Fairground we will take 'D street' out to highway 1 at Point Reyes. From Point Reyes we will head north to Coleman Valley Road, and then drive west to the town of Occidental where we will stop for lunch at the Union Hotel. After lunch we'll drive south on Bohemian Highway to Hwy 116 into Guerneville. From there we'll drive out River Road back to 101 finishing leg one of our tour. The rest of us will continue until driving west on River Road and then taking a right onto Old Redwood Hwy. Take a left on Fountain Grove Pkwy and head to Calistoga Road. We'll go right on Calistoga Road and then left on highway 12. From highway 12 we will go left onto Trinity Road We'll drive on Trinity to Oakville Grade Road. Left on Silverado Trail and then up Hwy 29 to Middletown. Turn left onto highway 175 over Cobb Mountain and left on Highway 20 in Kelseyville. Highway 20 will loop back to Highway 175 in Lakeport and then we'll drive over the Hopland grade down Highway 101 and then back down South to Santa Rosa. In Santa Rosa we'll end our adventure with dinner at a restaurant yet to be announced. There will be plenty of gas stops along the way and opportunities for people to bail out if they choose to not go further with use. Route sheets and cell numbers will be passed out at the fairgrounds and we advise you to bring your family radios to keep in touch with some other drivers who might own them. For anyone attending from the South Bay, I will be at the In N Out Burger on Rengstorff just off of Highway 101 in Mountain View at 7:00 - 7:30am. If anyone from the South Bay would like to meet there, we'll leave for the fairgrounds at 7:30am sharp.
