OK. Try Ken's sport tech or CT automotive in Campbell.

Modderman's is supposed to be a good shop. I have no experience with them myself, but I've heard good things about them.
My mechanic is Tony Heyer (== "Higher"), at Heyer Performance. He is also on Old Middlefield. 962-0930. Very good mechanic, no BS. He really dislikes aftermarket parts, and is not shy about telling you that. He scolded me for the K&N air filter and the Redline gear oil (no, the filter on the motor and the oil in the tranny!) that I had used on my car. Tony used to work for Garretson's, back when they were "it"--when Bruce Anderson was running the service department. Bruce told me that he even took his wife's 944 to Tony. Tony is *not* cheap. He doesn't have a whole lot of patience for "cheap Charlie" fixes--he'd much rather do the job *right*. But if you want the job done right, and you're willing to pay what it takes to do that, he's your guy. --DD |
