Transmission rebuild info...
Hi. I have a tail shifter for my 72. If I end up needing a rebuild, is there a place in So Cal that is 914 friendly for this service? How much would I be looking at if I were to send this tranny to be rebuilt? I may also look at trying my hand at doing the rebuild...
just trying to get a pulse on the situation. Thanks, Eddie.

Have you seen redbeard's transmission rebuild article? Parts alone are very expensive but I'm not sure how much the labor cost would be.

Thanks for the info. I'm inclined to rebuilding this one instead of finding another used one. Maybe red beard can chime in on this one, or I'll shoot him an e-mail.
Thanks, Eddie.
