yeah i told somebody at my work that the internet was down and verybody started scrambling and looking at the switches and stuff...i work at the university's network computing area.

Its funny how the Pelican BBS is the backup for the 914club now. Poor Pelican. This place used to be kicking. Its almost a 914ghost town any more.

I can see all the addicts are here now. Indeed this board used to be the place to go but its mostly dead nowadays. I still come here because this is where I started. Looking at all of your post counts, I can see you just use this place as a backup. Club is still down. Amazing how much we miss it when it is not there. I think I will take a nap for awhile, maybe it will come back up when I wake up.

The really funny part is that the car in my avatar here is now scrap metal in some junkyard, or maybe its recycled by now. I still have the plates though... Should probalby put them on my new car.
