heat exchangers

I am reinstalling the heat exchangers on a '72 1.7. Does anyone know of the correct tightening torque spec for the nuts that hold the exchangers to the studs. I am worried about over tightening the nuts and stripping out the threads on the studs. Can't find anything in any of the typical service/repair manuals. Thanks to all responses. EJP914

16 ft-lbs, from a shop manual. This goes for all exhaust nuts.
