FI 2.0 Wiring Harness
I'm going to sell my 75 parts car which I pulled its 2.0 with D-Jet FI. I'm going to eventuall put it in my 74 1.8 L-Jet FI.
Do I need to keep the FI harness out of the parts car for the engine swap? My first inclination is to remove it, but if I don't need it, I would like to leave it for whoever buys the parts car for thaty may choose to restore it because its solid. If you suggest that I remove it, where do I disconnect/cut? the harness?? I see where it feeds through the back of the engine compartment to go into the tunnel. Thanks

You do need the FI wiring harness. Just unplug it from the relay board at the four-pin connector; it should come out with the engine that way. (If you remember to unbolt the ECU from the battery tray, at least.)
Never ever EVER cut any wiring harnesses! Not unless the harness is burned up and physically unuseable. --DD

Sounds like you mean the main wiring harness instead of the FI harness which lays on the engine. The main wiring harness should stay with the car unless you are going to chop up the car for scrap.

My first thought was that maybe that "main" harness also unplugged somewhere in the tunnel.
