double rear window
Years ago there was a story in pano about a 914/6 that stoddard built for himself. It had a 2.8 and lots of other goodies. included in this was a double rear window for sound reduction. has anyone else attempted this? any thoughts on how to do it?

Install 2 of them together with a little mirror glue at the edges to hold them together. That way the sound waves would be disrupted and it would be quiter inside the cabin. The b*tch parts would be to get all the trim parts to fit back together. I guess you could use 1/8" rope adhesive instead of 1/4" to account of the 2nd piece of glass. Sounds like a good idea to get the noise level down. Even running FI it's pretty loud at higher rpm's in my car.

Joe, you're never going to get that car as quiet as a Lexus! Just enjoy it- that car sounds FANTASTIC! When Rhonda's with you, just turn up that killer stereo...
