914 trans ?
I've got a 914 side shift trans and axles laying about, don't know much about these parts so I have a question or 2.
Aside from the obvious case difference, what is the 914 trans internally? Is it a 911 unit in a different case or a VW ? What kind of power can the trans/axles handle? |

The 914 trans is a 901 gearbox from the early 911. Its 100% porsche
 And the going figure for HP is 200 measured at the input shaft, though the V8 guys are running 300+ hp and just dont use first gear.
