Look what followed me home.
It sounds like where some of you live 914’s are a dime a dozen, but here in Wisconsin they are rather rare.
Seeing double? You sure are! Pictured here are two, count ‘em two, pretty much stock, 1973 Signal Orange 914 2.0L’s. Click on the picture to see it larger with more detail (about 110K each). Mine is the one in the middle of the road with the PORSCHE strip, and the other belongs to a guy who, as it turns out, lives one mile away in a neighboring subdivision, across the street from one of my good friends. They are virtually the same, aside from these differences: alloys – Fuchs (his) vs. Western (mine), PORSCHE stripe (mine), front bumper (PO hack-job on mine), side mirrors, Carbs. (his) vs. F.I.
