just moved
Hello,
I just moved to the LA area (near Mid-Wilshire area) and was wondering if anyone coudl help me find a trustworthy shop for general maintenance. I am currently renting an apartment and can no longer do any work myself, except perhaps timing. Secondly, is there a procedure for setting the cooling flaps. I put my engine back in prior to the move and it was running kinda hot. So, at a gas station I though maybe I would loosen the thermostat wire. It slipped and I could get it set back to the correct position. Now, the flaps are "loose" and it is taking a very long time to warm the engine. Bye the way - if you are transporting your car, take the time to remove the front valence panel or the shippers will "remove it" for you. I now have to file claims and hopefully get everything back. Thanks for the help. |

Otto's, pricey but good. I agree, but if you take the time and do
it yourself you will know it was done right and the money you will save can go into your car and not in someones pocket. My .02 |
